Lancaster County, South Carolina has rich resources when it comes to all types of utilities. That means growing businesses -- including those with significant demands for power and other resources -- can find what they need to succeed. Electricity
Duke Energy, one of the nation’s largest electric power holding companies, serves 85 percent of properties in the county, including most of the business parks. Edgewater Corporate Park in Indian Land is served by York Electric Cooperative, and Heath Springs Business Park is served by Lynches River Electric Cooperative, both of which are member-owned electric cooperative.

Natural Gas
All business parks and many industrial sites have access to natural gas service provided by Lancaster County Natural Gas Authority, which has delivered natural gas service to Lancaster County for more than 60 years.

Communications
Comporium, one of the largest telecom providers in the nation, offers a diverse and technologically rich suite of business products. Comporium delivers fiber optic and modern business communications options, including 1 gigabit service, to all parks and sites. Other providers in the county include Spectrum and AT&T.

Water and Sewer

A large portion of unincorporated Lancaster County's water and sewer service is provided by the Lancaster County Water and Sewer District. Municipal service is provided in and around the cities and towns of Lancaster, Health Springs and Kershaw.
